What is a Motherboard?
A motherboard allows all the parts of your computer to receive power and communicate with one another. The CPU, memory, hard drives, optical drives, video card, sound card and other ports and expansion cards all connect to the motherboard directly or via cables.
The motherboard can be thought of as the 揵ack bone?of the computer.
The motherboard is also known as system board, main board, logic board, mob, MB.
Why motherboard driver is so important?
A series of compatible problems arise when using new motherboard. This is because the speed of hardware upgrade is far faster than the software upgrade nowadays. As many chipsets of motherboard cannot be recognized correctly by the Operation System, this caused new technologies that have been able to support cannot be used properly, as well as a plenty of compatible problems. In this case, chipset manufacturers produce related motherboard in order to make the Operation System compatible. After that, the Operation System can recognize the new models of chipset, and new technologies on the chipsets.
Motherboard drivers solve the compatible problem between hardware and software, and optimize the entire system or subsystem to a certain extent at the same time. The perfection of drivers has a great effect to the performance of chipsets.

1. Lost the time and date settings.
Cause: The motherboard on your computer has a small battery which gives it the ability to remain this small amount of information when the computer has been shut down. However, if this battery has worn out, it will not be able to hold this information.
Solution: Change your battery
Notice: Before you install the new battery onto your motherboard, it is very necessary for you to make sure the exact battery you need. And in order to prevent any static shocks, you抎 better touch metal that is grounded.
2. The computer restarts itself.
Cause: It抯 mostly that there is something wrong with your motherboard, which causes this problem.
Solution:
1. Try to make your motherboard in a good connection and make certain all the standoff holes are filled.
If the problem still exists, then this may be due to over heating.
2. Clean the dust and make good ventilation for all fan outlets by keeping enough room for ventilation and cleaning up the wires which fitted incorrectly blocking the ventilation inside the computer.
