How does Bluetooth Work?

Bluetooth is commonly used to stream music wirelessly, connect to the Web, transfer files, and more files. Its interesting features simplify our daily lives.

Bluetooth technology is useful when transferring information between two or more devices that are near each other in low-bandwidth situations. In Bluetooth technology, two devices communicate with each other over low-frequency radio waves in the 2.4GHz range. No cables or wires are needed, and the only requirement is that both devices be Bluetooth compatible.

In order to use Bluetooth, a device must be compatible with certain Bluetooth profiles. It means a personal computer must contain a Bluetooth adapter in order to communicate with other Bluetooth devices (such as mobile phones, mice and keyboards). Unlike its predecessor, IrDA, which requires a separate adapter for each device, Bluetooth allows multiple devices to communicate with a computer over a single adapter. Start a free scan now.

Fix Bluetooth issues

Common Seen Bluetooth Problems:

* Connect Failed
* Sound issues
* Device not found
* No Bluetooth icon on the computer

Try the following basic troubleshooting steps first. They may quickly resolve your issue.
Step 1. Make sure that your batteries are charged.
Verify that the Bluetooth device that you are troubleshooting is powered on and that it is enabled. If your Bluetooth device does not use batteries, skip it and see the step two.

Step 2. Try connecting the transceiver to another USB port on your computer.

If your Bluetooth device uses a transceiver that connects to your computer through a USB port, check the USB port is working or not.

Step 3. Try using one Bluetooth device for one time.

If there are several Bluetooth devices connected to your computer, temporarily remove the devices that you are not using.

Step 4. Check the adapter is installed properly or not.

Right-click My Computer, click Manage, and then click Device Manager to access the installed driver list. Verify the adapter of Bluetooth device that you are using is working or not. If not, you have to download a right one and installed it properly on your PC.
